Monica DeSalvo Art
American, b. 1965
DeSalvo is a Boston-based mixed-media artist blending drawing, printmaking, painting, and design. Her recent work explores and draws inspiration from her late father’s dementia and the journey she found herself on while caregiving. By using collage, she is able to perform “duets” with her father by incorporating his paper memorabilia. In August 2021 DeSalvo was one of eight artists selected from over 60 applicants featured in the Attleboro Arts Museum’s annual juried exhibition "8 Visions." DeSalvo is represented by Fountain Street Gallery in Boston, MA.(Biography provided by Fountain Street)
