About the Item

A bronze plated model 1705 throne chair and ottoman designed by Warren Platner for Knoll. Reupholstered in Tonus 4 by Kvadrat: 474 Rust Red. This is an early version with Patinated bronze frame. The newer versions are painted. The sculptural silhouette is achieved through gracefully bent and welded steel wire rods, forming a striking visual statement. Generously proportioned, the lounge chair offers supreme comfort with its newly upholstered seat. This iconic chair is the pièce de résistance of the innovative Platner Collection for Knoll, with original manufacturer tags affixed under the seat.
