Early Eames 670/671 Lounge Chair and Rotating Ottoman

About

An early example of the iconic 670/671 lounge chair by Charles & Ray Eames and produced by Herman Miller. This example has a fully rotating ottoman with push-on glides, a testament to its early provenance. Only a few of the first lounge chairs were produced with an ottoman that rotates. After the first production run in 1956 the design was changed to a stationary ottoman.
Both chair and ottoman are in original vintage condition with rosewood back panels, and a beautifully patinated leather seat.

Condition: Original condition; professionally cleaned. The shock mounts have been recently replaced.

Dimensions: {chair} 32.5" height x 33" wide x 33" deep; seat height is 15"{ottoman} 26" width x 21.5" depth x 17.5" height.

CITES Notice: Due to stringent regulations on the export of rosewood products enacted in 2017 this piece is unavailable for international shipment.
