About the Item

Pair of rare George Nelson model '4688' lounge chairs for Herman Miller, c.1940s, USA. The smaller scale chairs feature curved tufted seat backs and rounded armrests. Each chair has been newly upholstered in a wheat colored linen fabric with down feather pillow seats. The back legs have a playful two-tone wood detail adding to this pairs uniqueness. Dimensions 28.5" width x 31" depth x 32.5" height; 18" seat height, 23.25" arm height. Condition Excellent condition; new upholstery and refinished wood legs.
