This spectacular Vladimir Kagan 'Cloud' sofa was produced by Directional Furniture in the 1980s and was just newly reupholstered in a gorgeous nubby bouclé fabric, and is signed underneath with Directional label and has the lucite center support leg. The color of the bouclé is a very light oatmeal color - close to ivory and off-white. In brighter light settings it appears to be white but in darker or regular room settings you can see the slight tan color it possesses. We've searched for years for the best bouclé fabric and this one is quite exquisite, with bigger and softer pile and thicker backing than all the others we have found. *NOTE, the Philip & Kelvin LaVerne 'Chan' cocktail table shown in the photos is not priced in this set however is available for purchase in another listing. Gorgeous Stow & Davis cognac leather modern tuxedo or Chesterfield style sofa with a walnut plinth base, loose seat cushions and deep tufted button detail. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. There was a scuff on the upper right arm corner that has been repaired. What we love about this particular set is threefold... first it is comprised of only Kenzo Takada specialty fabrics. If you are familiar with Roche Bobois pricing system, specialty fabric elements can cost more than double the plain or simple fabric counterparts. Most sets will incorporate a portion of plain or simple fabric elements but rarely do you see sets like this where every single piece is a home run. And the fabric selection/ curation on this set is simply exquisite. Second, this set is in excellent almost-new condition. Roche Bobois introduced the Kenzo Takada collection in 2017 so this set is less than 5 years old. See below for more condition details. And third, the configuration is absolutely perfect and ideal for so many living spaces. It has three-corner elements and one of them is a Panoramic corner seat.
