A gorgeous cushion cut deep-lemon-colored natural yellow sapphire, weighing 16,68 carats, is set withing a contemporary beautifully designed ring mount by Rive Gauche Jewelry. The high polished 18 karat yellow gold mounting has the gemstone securely held by 4 double eagle-claw prongs on each corner with a curved polished gold curved bar on either of the north-south ends. The shanks are embellished by 6 cherry red round brilliant cut rubies which are set curving down, in platinum. 2 bright white and sparkly round brilliant cut diamonds are also set in platinum at the top of each shank on either side of the rubies. The contrast of the yellow sapphire, the red of the rubies and brilliant white diamonds give this ring a delightful chic and colorful appearance. The center gemstone is accompanied by a report from the AGL stating that it is a natural yellow sapphire with origin from Sri-Lanka ( Ceylon) and has not been enhanced by heat. The inside of the shank is stamped 750 for 18 karat gold, Pt950 for platinum and a stamp RG , the makers-mark for Rive Gauche Jewelry. The ring size is now 6.5 and can be sized free of charge.
