This is a very good English "RUMMER" drinking glass, which were originally drinking glasses used in English taverns in the late 18th and early 19th century. The glass is handblown and made from lead glass, having a soft greyish colour. It has an ovoid bowl, well engraved with a band of swags and tails on a short wrythen stem, sitting on a conical foot, having a snapped off pontil below. This is a very good hand-blown, English mid-Georgian Jelly glass, dating to the last quarter of the 18th century, circa 1780. These glasses are very collectable. It is made from English lead glass which is relatively heavy and has a soft grey colour. The glass has a bell bowl above a flattened cushion knop which forms a rudimentary stem. The stem leads to a conical foot having a rough snapped off pontil mark to the underside. There are no chips, cracks or any evidence of restoration. This is a very good hand-blown, English, Georgian, wine drinking glass with a facet cut stem, dating from the 18th century, circa 1785. These glasses are very collectable. It is made from English lead glass which is relatively heavy and has a soft grey colour. The glass has the usual striations, inclusions and tiny bubbles you would expect to see in 18th century glass, which gives these glasses their unique charm. The glass has a round funnel bowl which sits on a good facet hand cut stem which extend into the base of the bowl, the stem having a central knop. The stem leads to a conical foot having a snapped off pontil mark to the underside, which has been ground smooth. There are no chips, cracks or any evidence of restoration. This is a very good hand-blown, English, mid-Georgian, Wine drinking glass with a round funnel (RF) engraved bowl on a solid stem, dating to the middle of the 18th century, circa 1760. These glasses are very collectable. It is made from English lead glass which is relatively heavy and has a soft grey colour. The RF (round funnel) bowl is well engraved with OXO under rim and a facet cut bowl base, sitting on a a solid stem, over a conical foot with a snapped off pontil below to the underside. An exceptional, fine and impressive, large antique Victorian English sterling silver goblet; an addition to our collection of wine and drinks related silverware This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver goblet has a circular bell shaped form onto a knopped stem and circular spreading foot. The body of this large silver goblet is embellished with bright cut engraved suspended leaf festoons accented with ribbon bow motifs and interlacing swags. The decoration to the body incorporates a large oval vacant cartouche to either side. The upper portion of the goblet is encompassed with bright cut engraved interlacing and scalloped borders below an applied moulded rim. The knop to the stem is encircled with a bead decorated border. The foot is ornamented with further bright cut engraved simplified leaf festoon decoration accented with a scalloped border to the rim.
