Gorgeous vintage modern rosewood pair of cube shaped nightstands by Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin. Comprised of gorgeous rosewood veneer, brass plated steel bands, and a single ebonized drawer in each nightstand. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. There are a few chips, nicks, or dings in the wood veneer and some rust spots on the brass plated steel bands. The smaller veneer flaws were filled while larger pieces were replaced for restoration, and it looks beautiful. The bands have been professionally cleaned and we left them with their small scratches, rust spots, and age marks as we did not want to change the authenticity of the piece and honestly, we love the look of a little age patina. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, 1970’s.

Founded in 1910, Dunbar Furniture established a reputation for providing quality handcrafted products. The original Dunbar products were fine horse drawn buggies but with the invention of the automobile the company transformed into creating fine furnishings for the home. In 1931, Edward J. Wormley joined Dunbar as a young designer. Wormley's knowledge of furniture history and his global perspective became key in Dunbar's sucess over the next three decades.
