Such an incredible piece of Maison Jansen history, this large and unique French Rococo style parcel-gilt mirror depicting a hand-painted Chinoiserie scene was authenticated by Maison Jansen historian and author James Archer Abbott, a digital image of his authentication letter to be provided upon sale.

"The exceptional c. 1940-1950 Chinoiserie-style lacquered frame with mirrored glass insert is characteristic of that firm's (Maison Jansen) finest work.
