Modernist Classic Marcel Breuer Chaise Longue "Isokon" 1970s

About the Item

The Isokon Chaise Longue was originally created by Marcel Breuer during the late 1930s from his refuge in England, for the British firm Isokon. It was later produced under license by Knoll International during the 1970s. The lounge bed is built up with a birch plywood frame, due to this structure it has a slight flexibility, adding to the overall comfort. We have reupholstered the lounge bed with a quality fabric by De Ploeg. Material: Birch plywood, upholstery Condition: Very good with minor signs of use. Re-upholstered. Origination: Switzerland, 1970s. Labelled by producer. Approximate Dimensions: Height: 80 cm Width: 139 cm Depth: 65 cm
