About the Item

This is a N19 Straight-Back Chair, originally designed by George Nakashima for Knoll in 1946. This particular example dates to 1949. The Straight-Back Chair was Nakashima's modern, minimalist take on the Windsor chair. The chair measures 17.75 inches deep, 26 inches wide, and 30.25 inches high with a seat height of 16.75 inches. This piece does show wear consistent with use, but overall is in good to very good vintage condition. Please see photos.
