A superb quality George III period mahogany library Bookcase of breakfront form, boasting charming small Proportions, and four astragal glazed doors to top Enclosing adjustable shelves over panelled cupboard Doors enclosing further adjustable shelves raised on Original plinth base (Breakfront bookcases are one of the grandest, yet at the same time most functional pieces of antique furniture around. They are found in a huge variety of sizes, qualities, woods and dates of manufacture, ranging from the mid 18th century right through to the Edwardian era in the early 20th century. This particular example is perfect for 21st century living with its simple, but exceptional quality design and construction and it's much smaller than normal proportions which would allow it to be used in just about any room of the home or office.
