George Nakashima for Knoll Studio Splay Leg Table

About the Item

Don't miss out on your chance to bring home a piece of legendary design with this iconic partnership between George Nakashima and Hans and Florence Knoll. The "Splay-Leg Table", originally called the Model "N10", was designed in 1947 for Nakashima's first collaboration with Knoll of East Greenville, Pennsylvania. With his trademark simplistic lines and focus on natural materials, this hickory and walnut coffee table has a splaying X-base connected with traditional joinery techniques and a unique two-piece top bordered contrasting angular trim. The ample tabletop measures in at nearly 9 square feet, making this as functional as it is aesthetic. Please confirm item pickup location (Brooklyn or New Jersey) with seller.
