A genuine temple used de-accession 96 inch prayer bell with original wooden handled rope from a shrine in Nakamura Ward, Nagoya, Japan
An extraordinary opportunity to acquire, collect, use and display the largest scale 18” temple bell of this kind we have ever seen in private hands- including its original wood and hemp rope pull- a Japanese authentic hand cast copper Shinto Suzu bell.
The auspicious temple shrine from which this bell comes, was founded in 1156 to honor Ojintenno, who was the 15th emperor of Japan. It was commissioned in part by Minamoto no Tametomo, who was a famous Samurai, who is known as possibly being the first samurai to commit Seppuku.
Its big 18" high and 12" diameter bell including a massive hand carved wooden pull handle measuring 17 inches in length shows patina from great age, dates to the late 19th century, and was formerly rung outside a Nagoya Temple great hall where it was enjoyed by members of Japan's local Shinto communities.
This bell was authentically rung at this temple shrine.
We will include the original 96 inch rope pull with massive 17 inch long hand carved wooden handle.
In total, this is an extraordinary copper bell which includes its rare original wood and hemp rope pull.
Important: Please view the actual insitu photograph of this amazing relic before it was deaccessioned.
This huge old bell dates to the late 19th century period, displays an impressive patina from age, and sounds impressive. It's lower half portion has been purposely hand-hammered by design to improve its sound- this is not damage.

The artwork is hand signed and numbered by the artists (engraved), 100% handmade in Italy and comes with a “Certificate of Authenticity”.
We wanted to kidnap a cloud, slice it into thin sheets like it’s done with blocks of marble.
After, we take the central slab with the most beautiful pattern.
To keep the cloud from escaping, we tied it on to weights, disguising them as light, silvery legs.
Now, that the cloud is fixed to the ground forever we dressed her in the colour of green onyx which rested for millennia in the depth of heavy mountains.
The cloud has become a table and nobody will ever unmask it.

In 2015 we gave new life to glass from a 1950s ceiling fixture salvaged from the once magnificent Hotel Bristol in Meran, Italy upon the remaining components of the light fixtures and reengineered it with an entirely new metalware frame based on Led technology. The original gilt melted glass laces were carefully interwoven once again and cast into a more contemporary shape. In one of the pictures you can see one of the original lights by Flavio Poli with a brass frame whereas there have been many versions from the same glass pieces in the hotel. One light has already made its way to NYC and has been installed in an apartment there (see pictures). This is a unique opportunity to acquire one of the last remaining historical Poli glass pieces from the glamorous hotel Bristol as well as simply possessing a beautiful and large flush light, suited for a variety of different rooms and spaces.

Made of solid silver, both silver pieces are fully marked, 800 silver with the maker's mark. This substantial and beautifully-crafted neoclassical centrepiece
was made in the 1920s and will look perfect on a hall/lobby table or in the dining room.
The large silver tray is mounted on a wooden base and secured with brackets. The outside rail has a tube border with scallop shells. The polished surface of the silver tray is in very fine condition for its age and gives a good mirror to the light. The design motif is continued on the silver collar which slips over a copper liner. The copper liner-basket is cut to an exact outline and fit so that a floral arrangement can be executed elsewhere and then dropped into position.
For convenience, this item comes with a cut crystal vase saint Louis of suitable height and shape which sits inside the copper lining. The crystal vase may be 'associated', it cannot be verified that it was originally supplied with the rest of the set, but it is of the right period and style.
