Rare papier mâché table cabinet by Richard & Edwin Stubbs from Loveridge, Wolverhampton.
This cabinet consists of a separate lockable sewing compartment complete with needle books, thread spools and various other sewing tools. The five jewellery and writing drawers inside the cabinet are in unused condition.

Two very similar painted pieces by the same artist are in Bantock House Museum, Wolverhampton.

This papier mâché cabinet comes with a fully working lock and tasseled key.
