Carpenter Vittorio Zanaboni founded Zanaboni in Brianza, Italy, in 1967. Located north of Milan, the area has been renowned for furniture making since the early 19th century. The late 19th and early 20th centuries saw sweeping social change and major scientific advances — both of which contributed to a new aesthetic: modernism.
