Handcrafted Dickinsonia Stacking Tables Triptych in Bronze in Stock

$12,054.09per set

About

From this stacking tables triptych, 560 millions of years are contemplating us. Done in bronze by a "Living Heritage Company" workshop, each table sculpted represents a Dickinsonia fossil in patina bronze (black, gold, copper). This triptych of stacking tables is coming from the depth of History. This handcrafted stacking tables made in France are patined in copper, gold and black colors. Each table is signed and numbered. "One day, I found a piece of apple tree branch. Its elegant, simple and natural form gave me the idea to keep it and paint it black to give it a more dramatic side and why not to enter in a curiosity cabinet. For a long time I looked at this tree branch and told myself that someday I will do something with it. My meeting and exchanges with Fanny and Léandre Carbonneaux and their knowledge of the know how made me want to complete my idea. We agreed on the shape and the bronze became the ideal material. That’s how the Bronze Sauvage (Wilde Bronze ») collection was born and how Plumbum decided to edit it. From dreams to reality, a pedestal table, a lamp, two cosy objects, signed and numbered that will live next to you and will illuminate your dreams" Éric Gizard Bronze Sauvage collection gathers a lamp, a simple low table and a group of three stacking tables triptych. The three pieces of this triptych can be sold separately, see Dickinsonia tables item Prices exclude VAT.

About The Maker

At a time when we are forced to slow down, crafts appear as a way forward, where we create less but better. This trend is cultivated by Plumbum (*) with an emphasis on pieces with a high density of soul, poetic, high quality craftsmanship and noble materials. By inspiring and using the wealth of heritage and local craftsmanship, Plumbum designs original pieces in innovative materials, from furniture to objects, in collaboration with contemporary designers. Art of living and art of doing together to offer customizable, numbered and signed collections between territorial heritage and delicacy of styles. Plumbum shares as well its workshop where different know how are gathered to manufacture pieces of furniture of designers, architects and interior decorators (brass, steel, leather, granito terrazzo, ulphostery, woodworking…). ( *) Plumbum: graphite mine used by Roman architects. This is also the name of our mascot, this little French bulldog, symbol of french flair, represented on our logo
