This brutalist black savage piece called B.C BLACK CREATION BEFORE CHRIST emits a fierce energy, that miraculously cuts primitively-sophisticated through the surrounding space, like an appealing yet repelling knife, harmless but with a perceptible menacing presence. The irregular triangular tabletop as well as the mirror shards and the pointy drips of the melted recycled plastic in the table base, intentionally raise associations of threatening sharpness, brutal primitive burned wood, and solidified lava. It makes the B.C BLACK CREATION BEFORE CHRIST table almost uncivilised but Roos Schneijderberg knows how to unite multiple opposing energies into one particular piece.
