French Art Deco pendant chandelier by David Guéron ‘DEGUÉ’ circa 1920s
About the Item
Magnificent, quintessentially French, Art Deco, antique, nickel plated, pendant chandelier by David Guéron Degué, circa 1920's, with its signed, original, molded, frosted glassware.
The chandelier is in generally good condition, considering its age, but does have a historical repair to one of its arms, which does not detract from the overall integrity of the chandelier. The chandelier does have natural age related tarnishing, loss and patination to the nickel plated metalwork of the pendant chandelier, which only goes to augment the beautiful detailing, age and originality of the chandelier. The chandelier has all of its original, heavy, molded and frosted glassware, signed Degué. The glassware is in generally very good condition, considering its age, with only natural age related roughness and wear to the fixing points and edges of the glassware, which do not detract from condition of the chandelier, when installed. The chandelier still has its original nickel plated bulb holders. A glorious, rare and authentic, addition to any home.

- Condition:Rewired: The chandelier is wired and all 4 bulb holders work - however - it is imperative that the chandelier is checked, tested and installed by a competent electrician to be compliant with local standards.
