Alois Janak Art

b. 1924

Alois Janak was born in Krásné Březno, in 1924. He was a painter, etcher and lithographer. Janak studied art in Prague under Professor Spacek and by 1952, had devoted himself completely to his art. Janak's first one-man show opened in the United States in 1956 and was followed by a similar exhibition at the Galerie Marcel Bernheim in Paris the following year. Since 1957, Janak has participated in numerous exhibitions throughout Europe and abroad.
